Mrs. Schindler left her skates at home in Vancouver. Stephanie Schindler took this photo, and she did not bring skates. We all enjoyed a walk about the gardens, all decorated for Christmas with lights and carousels and trees. It was all so beautiful.
I have always enjoyed ice skating. Up until my arthritis took my knees that is. I used to try a different rink in Toronto each Sunday. When Dr. Mahomed at Toronto Western Hospital said he could give me new knees I asked if I would be able to skate again. His reply: "only if the water is frozen". So my new knees are ready to skate and I also have a new left elbow, from Dr. Veillette also at Toronto Western. So, I'm off skating in Canada's Capital Cities just because I can.
